Always on charging.
Owned the laptop for close to 11 months.
Physical setup:
Average room temperature: 26-30 degrees Celsius (Tropical climate)
Laptop is on a docking station and connected to an external monitor.
Laptop screen is open.
Occurrence:
Whilst being left on idle, the laptop fans regularly speed up and go back down in a constant pattern, CPU usage and CPU temperatures do not increase and remain a constant 30 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Notes:
It could be dust but I haven’t opened the laptop yet.
I am looking for any digital checks/ options to see if I can reduce the sound.
The docking station comes with a built in fan that is always plugged in.
It did not have this behavior before until recently.
My definition of idle: no applications open, just running the default system monitor application.
