Heya everyone.
Please move this topic if in wrong category.
I’ve just ran yay -Syu and got this output, i have automatic rsync snapshots enabled while updating so in case something goes wrong no problems, but it’s my first time getting a conflict error. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
If after saying “Yes” there is still a conflict it’s because you have the 32-bit library installed. Replace both packages explicitly and the process will complete:
sudo pacman -Syu pipewire-jack lib32-pipewire-jack
unless you’re using Cadence in which case remove pipewire-jack
.
yay -Rsn jack2
checking dependencies…

Bancerk:
yay -Rsn jack2
That’s not what I posted above. Try what I posted instead, or if it didn’t work then say why.
Ok so first i removed
pipewire-jack
did a full upgrade and rebooted, installed pipewire-jack, which prompted
pipewire-jack and jack2 are in conflict (jack). Remove jack2? [y/N]
as you mentioned. Continued with Yes and then installed
pipewire-jack lib32-pipewire-jack
After reboot everything seem to be working at the moment, mpv and browser plays audio/video correctly and obs record seem to be working fine as well.
Thank you for your guidance
Well done for solving it yourself!
