Hello.
I’d like to buy a bluetooth USB dongle for my old desktop PC running EOS.
I noticed that there are a lot of cheap devices on Amazon and other online stores. But Linux compatibility is not one of the most mentioned features.
Some brands are more recommended than others? Any general suggestion? Is there any particular aspect to be taken into account?
Bluetooth adapters with intel chipset almost always work
Realtek RTL8761B works out of the box (doesn’t really matter if it is a Chinese clone as long it has this chipset)
I have a asus bt500 and a chinese mpow (both with Realtek 8761) and they work perfectly out of the box
