If you set your user prefs in a script (somehow looked like), be sure that it’s not setting user_pref("media.rdd-ffmpeg.enabled", false); again.

Should be OK. Afaik Firefox on AMD cards has hardware acceleration enabled by default now. One can always control with a GPU activity-monitor or play some 4k/8k and check that the CPU stays down.

Yes. Setting is and was enabled all the time.
