Please make sure to remove all use of the aforementioned repositories from your/etc/pacman.conf(for which a.pacnewwas shipped withpacman>=6.0.2-7)!
Seems my pacman.conf is already free of the deprecated repos.

Yeah if you did a reinstall over the last year you will not have the community repo in your pacman.conf file as it was removed last year i do believe

I looked at my own .conf…
all I have enabled is extra, core, and multilib.
What is multilib repo?
And how come AUR is not in my conf?

Well, it is pacman.conf after all. The AUR is not handled by pacman which is why you need an AUR helper like yay.
