I want to change my Display Manager from GDM to SDDM. I’ve changed it previously but the last time I tried I’ve got login failed error. I’m using Gnome on EndeavourOS.

on the other hand after an update Lightdm failed to login, so i had to switch to GDM. Looks like a hard nut to crack particularly for me, since i am using Qtile as my daily driver.
I did just this when switching from lightdm to sddm.
install sddm
sudo systemctl enable sddm -f
