Cant switch to dark mode and cant change wallpaper

Hi i just update and restarted my computer and now i cant switch to dark mode and change the wallpaper
so i need to add a walpaper and some how light mode is the default.
Does anyone know what is causing the issue?
Kernel Linux 6.8.1-arch1-1
Gnome 45.5

Plus my apps are defaulted to light mode
