Can't remove app installed with Yay

I installed Simplenote using Yay and the app just wouldn’t launch, so I used Flatpak, which works fine. However, when I try to remove the yay installed version, I get the following: error:

target not found: Simplenote
 -> exit status 1

There are both the yay installed version and the flatpak launchers, how can I remove the non-working version? :thinking:

What does:

yay -Ss simplenote

Return?

aur/simplenote-electron-bin 2.21.0-1 (+87 0.07) (Installed)
    The simplest way to keep notes

So I tried yay -R simplenote-electron-bin and that did the job. Thank you @xircon!
