I can’t get Resolve to run. I have a license for the studio Version and get an unsupported GPU configuration without the OpenCL drivers installed. If I install the rocm-opencl-runtime, Resolve doesn’t even start.
I don’t know where to begin and I’d appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction 
It’s a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro 14ACH5 with a 5800H which has a RX Vega 8.

Can you try running Resolve with this command:
ROC_ENABLE_PRE_VEGA=1 RUSTICL_ENABLE=amdgpu,amdgpu-pro,radv,radeon,radeonsi DRI_PRIME=1 QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb /opt/resolve/bin/resolve
If that still doesn’t result in a working DaVinci Resolve Studio, you might also try this:

I’ve read about the 7.1.1 rocm package, but even from the archive I couldn’t get it to run….The package is already updated to 7.2.0
I’d made some assumptions about your desktop environment, and it seems they were made in error.

I don’t even get a splash screen of resolve.
I solved it, Resolve now starts and doesn’t crash. I not only had to downgrade rocm-opencl-runtime but also hsa-rocr which lies beneath rocm-opencl-runtime. Both are now 7.1.1. I found the issue analyzing the coredump
