installed from the latest iso and whenever clicking on an image the “set as home screen wallpaper” and “set as lock screen wallpaper” and " set as both" options are present, but even after scrolling through the settings many times, i cant seem to be able to change the Login Screen wallpaper, like after booting the pc and the numlock is off. otherwise the homescreen and lockscreen are set. pls help

search for login screen and configure appearance,.
click whatever image in directory your choice to apply.
If fou want to change wallpaper right click on your desktop and change.
Presuming you use KDE ?
This depends on which login screen you are using, if it is the SDDM screen you should click in the search box of system settings (type SDDM) , then clcik on the option that is given and go to the appearance settings (top right corner of the window) otherwise go to login screen in system settings and click on the appearance settings.
that’s right kees. The OP message … don’t know if sddm or wayland ?
If you aren’t using SDDM it might be under Login Screen. The one you would have been setting is the lock screen.
