I went to do a system update with yay and my pc froze for a long time. I hard rebooted it and tried to update again but it said that dB.lck file was found. I stupidly deleted this and now my update is constantly stuck on this.
I’m a noob at arch so any help is greatly appreciated.
Looks like no internet? What does:
ping www.google.com
Return?
You can use nmcli to connect, very straightforward (if installed).
edit (brain dead, time for bed!) boot off live media, chroot and then update.
Ok so it was an internet problem. My vpns were auto connecting and one of them doesn’t work. I’ve updated now however I get this message
My sddm also Is still failing with exit code 127
Try reinstalling sddm.
