Cannot Unlock the screen when the screen is locked

I cannot unlock the screen by cliking either keyboards or mouse when the computer sleeps. Can anybody helps me about that plz. Thanks!

I have run into this problem also. When my laptop goes to sleep, and I wake it up the keyboard doesn’t respond. When I press the Caps Lock key the indicator light in the key won’t even turn on. The only way I can unlock my laptop without performing a hard reboot is to click on the change user button and then click the reboot option. I am running EndeavorOS and Plasma v5.27.10 on an older Dell Inspiron 7460 laptop. I never had this problem before my laptop received the kernel 6.7 update.

@zbq311 What desktop environment and kernel are you running? I suspect this is a kernel issue, but it could be DE bug?

@zbq311 @Isildur981

Have you tried switching to LTS Kernel?

yes, but it does not work

If it’s due to suspend/power management then Archwiki has a page on your laptop which maybe of some help: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ASUS_ROG_Zephyrus_G14_(2022)_GA402
