Cannot install python-websockets

I have been trying to install python-websockets package from the repos. But each time I get the following error. python-websockets is required for yt-dlp which in turn is required for haruna. Without yt-dlp ability to stream YouTube videos on haruna does not work. Can you please help me figure out how to solve this problem?

(1/4) python-websockets-12.0-3-x86_64
python-websockets-12.0-3-x86_64 is up to date
Eerror: failed retrieving file 'python-websockets-12.0-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst' from mirror.osbeck.com : The requested URL returned error: 404

I’d update mirrors and give it another go.

UPDATE ARCH MIRRORS:
reflector --protocol https --verbose --latest 25 --sort rate | sudo tee /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

UPDATE EOS MIRRORS:
eos-rankmirrors --verbose

AFTER UPDATING MIRRORLISTS, UPDATE SYSTEM:
yay -Syyu

Looks to be only optional dep and not required by yt-dlp.

It does provide the ability to work with websockets. Otherwise yt-dlp cannot open streams that use websockets.

Yeah, I understand that. But at any rate, it is an optional dep. Not a required dep.

Anyways, @UncleSpellbinder suggestion is a good one.

You should always install packages on a fully updated system. Your local sync database seems to be out of date and that’s why pacman cannot find the the package on an up to date server.

It is looking for 12.0-3 while the current version on an up to date server is 15.0.1-1 and therefor it fails.
