Cannot change default cursor theme

Hello everyone,
I am new to EnOS. I installed i3WM. I am having wonderful experience ever. But a small thing is bothering me. I changed cursor theme with lxappreance. It works fine in every application but when I am in desktop it is the same default cursor.
Why is this happening?

Similar issue posted on the ArchLabs forum with a solution. Perhaps worth a shot.

Solved the issue. Just changed the cursor theme in ~/.Xresources

yes sadly i needed to add xcursor setting in that file to have the cursor setup right all over the WM … and lxappearence does not set/handle this file.
