Can´t update my system pacman update error

Hello gents,
Usually, I can solve problems on my own, but this is something rather annoying
The error I get while trying to update is this:

error: spdlog: signature from "Brett Cornwall <brett@i--b.com>" is unknown trust
:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/spdlog-1.9.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).
Do you want to delete it? [Y/n] y

What I tried:
repopulated pacman keys, deleted cache . no luck
followed the wiki, no results
tried to manually remove the file, it does exists there
I am rather annoyed to be unable to solve that simple matter but here I am.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried reinstalling/updating the keyring?

sudo pacman -Sy archlinux-keyring

A lot of times when i get these kind of error messages that say the package cache is corrupted i try delete first and then i usually update the mirrors and try again and i have success. But I’m sure this doesn’t always work. :man_shrugging:

It worked. Thanks a lot!
