Can Dolphin edit and view EXIF data

I am running KDE Plasma 6 with QT6. In Dolphin is it possible to view and edit EXIF data of media files (image, movies, etc)? If yes how?

To a certain extend you can do that by right clicking on a file and select properties from the context menu. Next click on the details tab and you will get a screen like this.

This does not show all the EXIF tags that are possible. Also it does not allow the editing of the tag values. Basically I am looking for capability like those provided by exiftool.

That is why i said to a certain extend this is a file manager not a swiss army knife.

I was hoping to edit the EXIF and other meta data without relying on third party heavy tools like GIMP.

Does KDE ship with any tool or package which can edit EXIF and other meta data for image files? A tool that integrates with Dolphin or Gwenview or Kolorpaint?

Well to watch my photo’s I use xnviewmp that has a great exif viewer.

I use exiftool and jhead for manipulating exif in my pictures. My standard-tool for photos is digikam. digikam can handle exif-changes like time-corrections, descriptions and tags as well as searches for exif-content.

Well i have used digikam too, but I prefer XNView because it is more lightweight and has exiftool integrated.

Does XNView integrate exiftool or does it implement the capabilities equal to exiftool? When i looked at AUR exiftool is not listed as one of the dependencies for XNView.
