Hello Everyone! First let me say, I love Endeavour OS, the way it looks, the options, etc. I was able to use Linux Mint and PopOS without any issues with Wifi or Ethernet. I downloaded EndeavourOS, having to use my mobile hotspot on my phone, wasn’t able to use my home wifi to install. So, after installation, my wifi is being recognized, but when I try to log in, it keeps saying my password is incorrect. I know the password is correct, I can connect with the same passwords to former distros. I’ve searched all topics here and other sites, and following a lot of instructions, I’m still in the same spot. Updating firmware, updating BIOS, etc. I have seen there is issues with Intel network cards, but not able to come to a solution. I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad T530 with an Intel Centrino Advanced N 6205 Wireless Network Card and an Intel 82579V/LM Gigabit Network Connection for ethernet. I am stubborn, I really like this distro, and I want to make this work. Any advice would be great!
Try the following. Create the file in
/etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf
add
options iwlwifi 11n_disable=8
Reboot and try.
Edit: Also under Network settings advanced network connections. Edit thw WiFi connection under WiFi security tab make sure is set to WPA & WPA2 Personal
