is far fetched (does it called that?) because of the memory space in efi stuf with efi_no_storage_paronoia does not check it… if you set E you can edit the kernel line… i dont know…its a pain to emulate this issue :slight_smile:

so can’t tell if you have this issue before , installing without grub is a good thig but have to devine in lol

I have no doubt this can be a problem as UEFI keeps track of the entry every time it boots something different. So when you plug in a usb and another different usb etc.

Thank you guys, but it’s getting too complicated for me. I already put too much hours in getting this ACER craptop to work. I give up. Now I am back to Ubuntu, installed with the method from Sladek90.
