Calamares failing with pacman error code 1

Hi,

My install from USB stick used before with ISO downloaded today on a PC is failing with this code

I have a good wired internet connection

I am selecting XFCE desktop and replacing a 500 GB empty partition alongside existing Win 11 installation

I just copied the log

1st in many many times that EOS hasnt installed for me :frowning:

Any ideas, please?

is this latest ISO? this is actually already hotfixed but seems not getting applied on your ISO..
you can unselect the package on packages screen too:

DOH!

I downloaded the ISO, then had to start a meeting, and forgot to actually flash it to the USB stick, so I am using the older ISO :flushed_face:

I am actually trying again right now without xfce4-datetime-plugin
Is it better to flash the new ISO and reinstall if this works, or will an update get me to the same point anyway?

EDIT: It worked :smile: Now, being lazy, can I just update rather than burning new ISO and reinstalling?

yes its online install anyway, if install works all is set properly

It’s a rolling release distro. So yeah if you update your on the latest version of endeavour.
