I absolutely love the way Brave Origin handles webapps. With LibreWolf and Firefox, webapps load the LibreWolf/Firefox logo regardless of whether or not you’ve manually changed the webapp’s icon. And often, along with the webapp, the browser would also open. And closing the browser then closed the webapp.

With Brave Origin, changing icons for webapps stay. And ONLY the webapp opens, treating them like actual apps.

It’s always worked this way with Vivaldi. Maybe it’s a Chrome thing???

I had issues with Vivaldi as well in the past. Same issue of when I opened a web app from Vivaldi, both the web app and browser would open. Closing the browser closed both.

Interesting…never experienced that. I’m using Fuzzel to launch apps in Hyprland; maybe that’s why it works.
