Booting with monitor off causes black screen

Using Endeavour with i3. Nvidia 4070. Result of ‘journalctl -b’ for that boot. Tried latest nvidia version and previous. Tried eos-nvidia-fix because that seemed promising.

Basically if I turn on the PC with the monitor off (because I want it to boot while I get coffee :D) when I come to turn the monitor on it can’t find any output. Changing tty doesnt bring output back (I remember that being an issue with a distro before, can’t remember which)

I have this issue as well. Also, when I’m just on the desktop, turn off my screen, and then turn my screen on again, it stays black and the screen shows a “no input” message.

For this reason, I have disabled all the “eco” settings in the power menu of eos, so the screen never goes out.
