Booting into endeavouros with Paging File Sized Enabled

image

Hello!
During my dual boot setup with endeavouros, I turned off this page file setting in windows as part of dual booting setup, Then for some days when i used to dual boot onto windows (secure boot on) to play games like Valorant, CS2 etc there were no lags or crashes but after sometime my games woudnt launch and just crash (VAN -1 error) not space on paging files error, to fix this i turned on (Automatically manage paging file size for all drives), After that everything worked smoothly then with this setting on im booting onto endeavouros, Hopefully im not breaking anything or doing something that would corrupt or get me into some random bug in any OS, Is is safe?

Is this the same physical hard drive running linux and windows? it is not recommended to do this.. much better if you postinxi -e for broader examination.

yes same physical hard drive (im on laptop) but diff partitions.

that is unfortunate since windows is notorious messing around with linux. separate drive is a must if you want peace of mind while maintaining both OS.

:frowning: so should i just get external drive now

You shouldn’t have secure boot enabled.
