Bluetooth once again?

Using earlier releases of EndeavourOS and following the instructions on activating bluetooth, these Smokin’ Buds worked.

This screenshot confuses me as it shows, the Smoking Bud’s, it tried to ‘connect’ then ‘disconnected’ . . . and the following error message above on top say’s ‘br-connection-key missing’. . .

If I try to select a device, nothing shows up. . . . no ‘Smokin Buds’. It just scans . . . showing nothing.

Trying to figure what’s going on. . .

I’m using KDE with the latest ‘Plasma release’. . . .

Rich;)

I’m terrible at posting. . . . forgive my futile attempt.

Check if the bluetooth service reports some issues.

sudo systemctl status bluetooth.service

[richardc@richard-ms7c91 ~]$ sudo systemctl status bluetooth.service

This is what I get. . .

Rich

I’ve got 3 Bluetooth icons on my kde-menu bar. . .

(1) says ‘bluetooth enabled’ Smokin’ Buds pairing enabled, marked ‘trusted’
(2) says ‘bluetooth’ No connected devices, when clicked on it shows ‘Smokin’ Buds, connected, with it’s address, connection to device failed, Disconnected. . .
(3) says ‘bluetoothe’ No connected devices, when you hit connect, it shows 'connecting to Smokin Buds, Connection to device failed, Disconnected. . .

3- bluetooth, Icons? What to do to fix this?

Rich

Bluetooth fixed . . . . re-installed system and re-established bluetooth connection. Some things aren’t clear and I may have more than likely been kicking myself in the head with some minor problems (i.e. major blunders. . . ) I suspect. Anyways all is good and I’m a happy camper.

Rich
