I made a post about my system freezing everytime it goes to sleep a few days ago
I gave up and decided to distro hop…however i decided to do a quick Endeavour OS install and see if I installed somethign wonky.
On a new install, fully updated, sleep works!
However once I enabled bluetooth I realized that the system froze once more.
disabling bluetooth, sudo systemctl disable bluetooth; sudo systemctl stop bluetooth
And sleep works again.
I don’t know what’s up with that; bluetooth is built-in to my motherboard.
Can I use bluetooth? Is this a temporary error?
What is the bluetooth chip? Post the output with code tags please.
inxi -E
Just in case show also
inxi - Na
Here’s the output of inxi -E

Just as an addendum, the computer is still sporadically freezing.
With bluetooth enabled, it was freezing everytime without fail.
But it seems my freezing problem hasn’t gone away.
This user seems to be reporting the same issue (same DE with similar GPU)
Hello @CursedAuroran !
Very interesting. I haven’t had this problem again since the system has been using the LTS kernel.
What kind of graphics card is installed in the system?
Looks like the bluetooth serivce isn’t enabled.
systemctl status bluetooth
https://discovery.endeavouros.com/audio/bluetooth/2021/03/
Edit: Or you disabled it?
Yes, sorry I should have been more clear,
I had it disabled when I ran the command.
I think the problem has been fixed with the 6.12.3 kernel. I’ve been on it for a few days (now 12.4) and sleep has been working like a champ.
I haven’t tested bluetooth in all honesty because I’m kind of scared of it causing problems and me having to reinstall or distro-hop. And I frankly don’t have the time or the energy to do either.
