Bluetooth adapter

I bought an Asus USB-BT500 usb adapter.

I got the drivers installed and everything works… sorta of.

Every time I restart or come back from hibernate, I have to pull the usb adapter and reinsert it for it to be recognized. It’s not recognized upon restart, a new start up, or coming back from hibernate.

Is there a way I can get this to happen so I don’t have to keep pulling the adapter and reinserting it?

Could be indeed some sort of powersaving happen that does not wake the device up again properly…

is the first thing I see about such issue…

Whatss weird to me perhaps I should mention is for example. If I turned my computer off, then back on, its like bluetooth doesnt even exist. The cinnamon/gnome application will not open, the taskbar indicator is not there, and bluetoothctl cannot find any agent/device to register. However, LSUSB will show the device as plugged in.

However, as soon as I pull the adapter and plug it back in, everything is suddenly recognized.

It’s like the computer knows its pluged it, but cannot recognize what it is that is plugged in… if that makes sense.
