As mentioned in the thread, 25 GB for a root partition might be on the small side, but not terribly so if you don’t have many flatpaks installed and do occasional clearing of your package cache. Uninstall also all the software you don’t use. Keep it tidy and clean and you’ll be fine.
I guess using gparted on the live usb so the disk isn’t mounted didn’t cause any issues.
when I run the grub function… it says no file or directory exist
