Black screen white line DELL Precision 5550

Hello,

Thanks for all info shared here,already.

Installed latest distro / iso on a DELL Precision 5550 (i have it on other three devices working fine).

Install goes fine,restarted and after all the logging lines,i am presented with a black screen and a white line top left corner… nothing moves,beeps,clicks.

After install,i was never able to do a first login on to desktop or prompted to login.

Anyone having same / similar issues,please ?

Hello, System asks for encryption password and continues until it gets to a black screen with a cursor in the top left. Keyboard is not responsive and can’t seem to get to a terminal. Secure boot is disabled. Trying to install encrypted btrfs with gnome. Coming from POP-OS, which works with same disk configuration. Install completes without any error notifications. Log obtained with chroot on live usb sudo dmesg -rl warn,err,crit | eos-sendlog https://0x0.st/8xuC.txt journalctl -b -0 | grep…
