BIOS update Gigabyte AORUS/iowait

My Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 (rev. 1.0/1.1) has different rev specifications, namely rev. 1.4 rev. 1.2. Somehow I must have installed the rev-version 1.4. So far everything worked except that the iowait value was very high with 9%. I somehow didn’t think about it until I came across this topic and only because of AGESA version: AGESA 1.2.0A for AM4 released

But the Gigabyte page is also very confusing, according to my feeling.

I then looked at everything again and today i updated the BIOS again with the correct rev version 1.0, 1.1. Also the iowait value went back to 0.1%.

As I always say, the problem is usually between the screen and the chair

What I want to say with it, it is worth looking closely or look again more closely

Yes the revision number does matter as they can sometimes have a different Bios version.

Now I am actually aware of this as well. I just didn’t look closely when I updated the BIOS three months ago. At some point I had to install Plasma again and this problem was forgotten. Luckily I looked into the article about the AGESA driver.
