Best GUI for pacman?

GNOME Software ???

Hello @HaileyFoxInSA
You can install pamac-aur-git

yay -S pamac-aur-git

Tried it…not a fan yet…but I’m open to being convinced I’m wrong…

…or just use pacman as is. It’s not all that hard, and there are numerous cheat sheets.

I was very sceptic regarding the terminal at first, but now I find it easier.

Why? pacman is the defacto package manager but yay allows you to install other packages from the AUR. What desktop did you install?

True true…but the OP gave me the impression it was GUI or bust

That’s probablt true, but 65 post later I forgot the OP.

Best GUI is Firefox. . . Where i go search at the AUR and Arch packages.

Then I use pacman. . .

I’m reaching here.

Cant argue there the best message broker has always been the human behind the keyboard (on a sensible OS anyways)

Almost three months later, older, wish I could say wiser, I am doing my best to wade through the thick of the Manual. At least framed on my desk, I’ve got:

rtfm
