Bad behaviour on the rise

Exactly. In the UK and Australia, saying something like “ah, don’t be such a cu*t” is normal. Say that to someone in the States, and you may end up with a fist to the jaw.

As I Kiwi I can tell you, the same phrase is used here often, both as a positive and a negative descriptor. The thing is, you’ll know what context it is being used in due to the body language at the time.

The main reason for arguments to begin in internet is the fact that, we don’t see others who take part in discussion. Also when using exclamation marks in written text, when you’re answering to someone, for me it means that you are literally shouting.

No, when you’re shouting, you use upper-case letters, an exclamative sentence has never meant shouting.

Or even shouting

Corrected, thanks.

I was speaking from myself and I had edited text later on to make this clear.

Then keep it to yourself and don’t post it on the forum. I don’t post that I hate the self censorship that I see everywhere, using unalive instead of dead or deceased wtf.

Why are you so angry?

Same here in the States, actually. BUT… unless that word is used with a close friend or group of friends who get it… the jaw punch is still a strong possibility. That word here is basically the worst thing you could ever call someone.
