Hey Purple Friends,
Is there any way to set that my laptop wallpaper changes either every 30 minutes or every hour? I think I did this before yet I don’t know how I did it.

Variety as mentioned by @sradjoker is very good, but you didn’t mention which Desktop Environment you are running. Cinnamon, KDE and Xfce all have built in wallpaper slideshows.

Variety will work very well with Xfce. It’s been a year or so since I last used Xfce, but some instructions for the native wallpaper slideshow are here: https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu-linux-tips/automatically-change-wallpapers-xfce/
