Autoconnect Wifi sometimes fast or very slow (load driver earlier ?)

Hello, i’m new here and installed Endeavour OS a few months ago.
So far everything works (besides User induced errors ^_^).

Since i’m more or less forced to use Wifi, i recognized that Wifi sometimes takes very long to connect, when i’m logged on ( up to about 2 Minutes) sometimes it is already connected when the desktop shows up, directly after login.

This is probably not an display issue only because some apps like Steam report no internet connection, even after Wifi is finally connected. A app restart fixes this issue.

So my Question is how is it possible to load the Wifi-Driver early or are there any other options to prevent this issue/bug ?

Are there a lot of WiFi networks in your area? If so, these might interfere with your network.

Oh and: welcome!

There are only 2 Networks in my area, on one of them i’m always connected. Recently an error appeard where a Dialog popped when i was still connected which asked for a Wifi password. I canceld the Dialog and nothing happend. Could it possibly be an issue because of the WIFI Name ? One ends with LV and the other ends with LD, the rest of the bot networks is identical only one Letter is different.

Try to change to use 5GHZ if not being used. 2.4GHZ may be interfered by some appliances around, for example, a microwave. In addition, change to use another channel sometimes may help, too.

If one only connects to one specific network is there a way to have the OS not even poll for other networks since the one should be autoconnected?

Edit: This is maybe a Driver issue or the Router is probably faulty. I connected via LAN to work around this issue. No Problems with LAN connection at the moment, no delay, no disconnecting, just works.
