I’ll preface with my system layout.
I’m on a desktop system with an AMD GPU.
I use a usb audio interface for audio input and output.
everything was functioning properly before running some system updates, but now there seems to be some gpu/driver issue?
I hear the indicator sound when I set the volume level and both displays work normally, however I get no audio (input or output) through apps like discord, youtube videos load the page but the video never starts, and audio and video files do not play when opened, but they seem to load as I can scroll through the progress bars.
I’ve tried restarting pulse audio and multiple system updates. Any ideas on what to try next?
Lets start by getting some basic information about your system

I’m assuming this is the one you are talking about not working now?
The more information you can provide the better assistance can be.

yes, that’s my audio interface.
a focusrite Scarlet solo, usb audio interface-
the device itself functions, I even hear the test sound when setting the system volume. The issue seems to be related to the gpu? Since videos and music files don’t play. They’ll open and load/buffer, but they don’t play.
