Another note is that cmus must be playing the music before openspades is started, if it’s not playing and then it starts when openspades is running it will then stutter.
Edit: If I open Pavucontrol the stuttering stops and is perfect again, however when I close it the stuttering restarts
I have just discovered that when this happens with Audacious it throws me this error in the terminal
WARNING ffaudio-core.cc:188 [ffaudio_log_cb]: <(nil)> Invalid return value 0 for stream protocol

It says I should set remixing-use-all-sink-channels = no to yes in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf however I don’t have a daemon.conf file in my /etc/pulse/ (this may be because I’m using pipewire)
Where do I set this?
Edit: Don’t think this will solve it
Changing the output to JACK in Cmus and Audacious has solved the problem.
The problem must relate to pipewire-pulse. I haven’t exactly fixed it but I have a workaround and it’s fine.
