Oh I see, remove the ā€™ after bestaudio/best
Thatā€™s an error on my part

Sorry, I thought i had youtube-dl installed.

Edit: Still not working as Iā€™m not familiar with this. Remove bestaudio/best

Sorry once again. There was no file format specified. It should be
yt -x -f bestaudio/best -o ~/Downloads/audio-file.opus 'https://invidious.kavin.rocks/watch?v=4v4Mcncvsac'

I just downloaded it the way i know how to do it but itā€™s webm.

Yeah use the new command I sent you

It doesnā€™t work because i think you are assuming some things which i donā€™t know. So i changed it and is now downloading.

Alright
Alternatively you can go to the link https://invidious.kavin.rocks/watch?v=4v4Mcncvsac
and download it there because invidious has an option to download the video as an audio file

I just see a DT video.

Scroll down and youā€™ll see this

You donā€™t possess a single audio file? Not one?

Oh wow I think I found my issue
I changed the polyphonics setting and made it slightly higher

Iā€™ll lower it and test it in a few minutes. But Iā€™m 90 percent sure this is the problem as I did change it a few days ago

No i donā€™t! :man_shrugging:

Audio works fine here!

Edit: Just tried a couple more and no issues.
Edit2: Audio is clear as a bell!

Thatā€™s good!
The stuttering only occured when I ran e.g Openspades along with it though, the music player itself didnā€™t stutter.
However I think Iā€™ve solved the issue by lowering the polyphonics setting. Iā€™ll continue trying it tomorrow and see if it occurs again, if not, well then thatā€™s that sorted

Damn it.
problem not solved. Still stutters

I was hoping disabling EAX in OpenSpades might fix it but it has not.
I donā€™t know what to do to be honest. Iā€™ll try LTS I suppose and see if that works.

The stutter persists even on the LTS kernel so I think this is solely a Pipewire problem and most likely to do with the new update that came out a few days back.
Maybe I should downgrade Pipewire
