Hello,
I have an unusual problem. Every now and then graphic blocks pop up on my desktop obscuring elements of the application interface. Computer mouse movements help to offset the effect, but it is possible that because of this I had application stuttering, mainly the right mouse button activity.
Here’s what it looks like:
Summary of my `inxi -Fxxc0z` is here.

Is it a bug in the system?
Is it a non-stable desktop environment?
What is the cause?
I don’t understand why this is happening. I’d like to use the Distro quite happily as much as possible. It may be helpful for you to know that I installed the Budgie on EndeavourOS through online mode, why this happens and whether it only happens to me I do not know.

What’s the deal with the artifacts? What is the problem with these artifacts? Is this such a common Linux attribute? Which commands could I still provide to help solve the problem? Thanks for any suggestions that might be helpful.
Kind regards to all.

A little sentence correction yet, I meant the left mouse button and not the right button. Once or twice it happened that it got stuck on dragging the image, as if it was still pressed.

Higher versions of the BIOS were issued because of the appearance of support for the 13th generation on it. I have the 12th, and I doubt the problems are due to a non-newer version.
Currently I do not have a free flash drive, and if I needed it, this is the method I would prefer. I could forcefully enable the update on Windows, but is it really worth it if it’s just a cosmetic gimmick, making no difference.
does not look like only cosmetic on the description to me… but if you do use lower version by a reason … okay… also not clear why newer version is an issue for your CPU if it is supported it should be supported with latest Bios too or not?
Anyway:
Device-1: NVIDIA TU116 [GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER] vendor: Gigabyte
driver: nvidia v: 565.77
You do install Nvidia drivers over ISO initial install or manually later?

Agreed, it will be supported, I just did not have time to update for a long time, there is no conctetional reason. Indeed, something there says “Since BIOS Version: F21”. When I still updated to the current one higher revisions did not exist, that’s why I just have F6b.
It installed itself automatically, in the wizard I chose Bugdie Online, because only from the network you can have such an environment without much effort. This was the easiest way.
can you show: inxi -Gaz
details on GPU ?

Looks like a problem with the Magpie WM/Compositor. Have you tried turning off animations (right click desktop > Budgie Desktop Settings > At the bottom is a toggle for Animations)?
