Using Gnome DE. When right clicking a downloaded item in Transmission, and selecting, Open Folder, I get a terminal instead of file manager. I also use Ding extension. When double clicked, the folder icons also open terminal instead of file manager. It just started doing this recently. Looking for ideas as to what is causing this.

Can be an extension also or application overwriting the mimetype selection…

I found it. You were right although I didn t find the offending app in the mimeapps file. It s the kitty terminal which I recently installed. I should have looked closer because it shows the terminal name in the neofetch output. Somehow it s being called instead of the file manager when prompting an open event.
