I tested it with Plasma(wayland), Plasma(x11) and Hyprland. This is a issue I have for a long time.
As you can see here the mic isn’t accepting any input here.
But, here it’s getting mic input and also it’s working on OBS Studio.
Sorry, if this a some noob question.

Have you allowed the site access to your mic in firefox settings?
Also are you you using firefox from the repos?

Thanks for the fast reply.
Yeah, I enabled all of the permissions.
I installed firefox using pacman.
in your browser input field it should show some info
Plus as dalto said it will ask for permission on starting the talk:
in a talk you have this circle up right it should wobble on mic input
And inside talks you have the 3 dots settings menu too:

Yeah, I’m already using Built-in Audio Analog Stereo not Monitor of Built-in Audio Analog Stereo.
The circle that indicates the mic sound doesn’t change.
checked pvucontrol config tab if mic is really set as input only?

Oh, looks like I just need to be close to my laptop mic for it to detect my voice. Looks like the only problem is to make it work on my earphone.

But, it’s weird in OBS Studio I don’t need to be so close to my laptop mic.
audio on linux a very wide field…
i see this on usb mics often that they are set to act as output device what screws the thing up for both input and output sources
