Any tips on customizing budgie?

ive really liked the small animations budgie has, my setup is currently very simple, if you have any tips or wanna see them just tell me!

the only thing i changed was to put a dock at the bottom.

I’d guess out of nearly 13000 forum members (currently) there must be a few using Budgie.

as a user since 2017 I advise to keep all KDE out of your budgie–experience and opinion here. I think Korla or Humanity is a great day-after-day theme. Plank is better than their in-house panel-dock but the in-house panel dock is nice if you want little icons/more screen. Nemo is perfect. Their brightness control and trash applets are nice. Budgie wasn’t made to be over-the-top lavishness. It’s like Cinnamon in its meant to be easy on the eyes and a workhorse. Stay modest, there’s a lot of ways to change look and feel on a continuous basis via small moves.

Just downloaded and installed Orchis theme from Gnome look. I really like the rounded corners. Going to try one the colored Orchis themes next. Thanks :+1:
