I am enjoying this distro for a while now
I switched form Opensuse Tumbleweed (Issues with NVidia GPU)
Not a real distrohopper so I hope to stay a long time.
The only hiccup I had was that my mirrorlist was out of sync, so I was a little suspicious when my system did not get any updates for a week…
But easily fixed with the help of the great wiki.
It looks like a very friendly community, so the decent thing to do is to say “hello”

Have you been using the legacy driver?
Having been a moderator in a german openSUSE forum for some years I’m still watching (although not as close as I used to do) what is going on there. Overall it’s a great distribution.
The guy who bulids the packages for Nvidia GPUs quit doing it for legacy drivers. If you have an older GPU you’re bound to using Nouveau or have to try to get the installer from the Nvidia website running. Even with the latest driver there are some issues because of the latest gclib update.
As far as I know, there are quite some issues right now with latest kernel and several kernel modules.
It is a great distro.
I just added the NVidia Repository in yast and installed the drivers.
Problem is if there is a kernel upgrade…you have a blinking cursor …
Maybe not a big problem, you can choose an older kernel, or wait a few days for NVidia to update their drivers.
But I had a few kernel updates in Endeavour and had no issues with my GPU.
That doesn’t surprise me at all. Proprietary Nvidia integration in EndeavourOS works way better. Especially with my (some might it call outdated) GPU.
I didn’t regret yet to have switched from openSUSE to EndeavourOS. In my experience EndeavourOS works way better than Tumbleweed (compairing apples to apples / rolling release).
