Yes do to it I was informed about what was happening before I did my weekly update. I was able to sucessfully udpate all three of my devices. Each having a video card from the main three intel nvidia and amd.

would also like to FYI anyone hesitant about this it’s fine. Have not heard a horror story in the last 48 hrs. I updated my main Cinnamon, using those two steps, then rebooted, all was great.

Two machines i updated needed the intervention. I followed the instructions, and the updates went well.
