Amd gpu is underutilized and power limited

I bought and installed the ASRock AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT Challenger D 4G OC gpu into my new EndeavorOS pc build and when I started testing it with Minecraft in shaders, it lagged horribly.

I looked at the stats with LACT and saw that the gpu would not go past 0.080Ghz when its supposed to be at 1.835Ghz, it also fluctuates between 20-30 watts when its max power limit is supposed to be 130 watts, and it does not exceed 35°C.

After back and forth with Chatgpt, installing more amd gpu/driver packages and multiple reboots, I figured that it’s a power profile or power limiter that’s on EndeavorOS but I can’t seem to find a setting or command to change it to fully utilize the gpu.

There no such thing as a power limiter specific to EndeavourOS.

You can start the GUI client of LACT to change it manually from automatic mode to highest clock speeds.

I have already done that but it’s still stuck on 0.080ghz

That that your sensor drivers are up to date. I had to install a different one from default to get my CPU/GPU to display correct temps.
