AMD GPU fan speed N/A

Running sensors I get

The GPU fan speed is not reporting. I run sensors-detect, did a restart and it still doesn’t show.
I’ve somewhere about settings the GPU fan to PWM instead of DC in BIOS, but my mobo doesn’t have anything like that (it’s pretty old).

Any ideas?

You could try installing Xsensors, AUR package.

Also not all motherboards have the sensors, if missing it probably isn’t there.

You are probably right. It’s an old mobo (gigabyte p35-ds3 rev.2) and in the BIOS I don’t remember seeing any options about the GPU.

P.S.: It’s somewhat a “wasted” thread as it turns out. If it should be deleted, let me know (or just do it).
