Akm showing fewer kernels than exist

I’m a bit confused by what I see in akm and what I see during boot. I’ve opted for systemd-bootand that shows me a graphical representation of what’s in /efi/loader/entriesat startup:

But in akm I see this:

Why doesn’t akm show the 6.13.7 kernels?

Can you actually boot those? Are they really installed?

Have you ever rolled back a snapshot?

To answer your question literally, AKM doesn’t show that kernel because it hasn’t been available in the repos for a long time.

I installed EndeavourOS for the first time in November of last year (roughly two months ago) and I haven’t added or deleted any kernels in that time. I’ve only updated via yay/pacman.

Let me see if I can actually boot from it and then get back to you.

Oh, nevermind, looking more carefully at your output, those are clearly from a different install.

My guess would be you did two installs in November. When you did the second install you didn’t use “Erase Disk” or cleanup the EFI partition.

You should go into the EFI partition at /efi and delete everything related to 56a596ffd97843c89a0064ef96bb0121

You were absolutely spot-on. I tried to boot into the third kernel and the startup failed. After manually deleting files under /efi, the loader showed only two kernels and all is now well.
