I know this is an old topic, but now that I am on Arch again I decided to use paru this time because I find it’s easier than having to a setup a local repo with aurutils. I also like that you can edit a config file to change it’s behavior, while from what I have seen with yay you have use command-line flags to change it’s behavior.
