The past few years I’ve been trying different Picom versions that provide animations, but It’s the first time the animations are smooth with no graphical artefacts.
I use background blur (dual kawase), rounded corners and animations, no shadows. Compfy is also compatible with awesome, dwm and herbstluftwm.
This is why I try not to use any new project unless it’s coming from someone/a group that already has other projects. I let others be the guniea pigs and testers first.
