YAMIS (Yet Another Monochrome Icon Set), created and maintained by @dirn, is by far the most complete icon set available for Linux. Updated regularly, even if an icon has not yet been included, a simple request will get it done. In the Linux world, it’s rare for a maintainer to be so approachable and willing to include user requests. You ROCK, dirn!

Credit should also go to Storm Rosenaa, as it was originally his creation. I only added the new icons. I didn’t draw them from scratch. I took the original icons from existing sources and converted them to monochrome.
So basically, I’m just a modder, nothing more, nothing less
