Heutiges Update bringt im Suffix des Kernel 7.0.9-arch2-1.
Was hat es mit dem 2-1 auf sich. Weiß das jemand?
Sonst steht doch immer 1-1 dort, oder?

Es gab eine neue Version des Arch Kernels mit weiteren Fehlerverbesserungen. Bei Erscheinen ist die Nummer deshalb von 1 auf 2 gesprungen.

Yeah i am. My “testing” notebook has everything enabled.
If its yr general testing device that`s fine, but not recommended to use testing on something you regularly need for any serious thing.
I run the updates on the test notebook the HP unit, if things runs well i install them on a second notebook with an nvidia card (acer) and if that runs well i use it on my main notebook. Doing this since november/december 2025 and i did run into any issues (yet).

Das Testing Repo ist nicht ein “Das neueste” Repo sondern ist zum testen von Paketen bevor sie in das offizielle Repo kommen.
Auch wenn es nicht unumgänglich zu Problemen führt, wird es das mit 100% Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Tages ganz ohne Vorwarnung.
Haha ja, das stimmt, ich werde damit vorsichtig sein
