388 days of EOS! Time flies

Sorry @UncleSpellbinder , replying from phone is a bit tedious. I thought I’ve copied @Noodly 's specific post.

Thanks @thefrog :victory_hand:

I switched machines and did a fresh reinstall so this install I’m only at 324 days. Been using EOS for a little over two years. Love it, keep up the good work.

I tried, for some reason it does not work. As you can see below, the text in black is not accepted as it should all be red.

what error do you get?

This is exactly how the code looks for me

        {
            "type": "disk",
            "key": "{#33}  󰥔{#37}  OS Age   ",
                        "folders": "/", // Check root filesystem
            "format": "{create-time:10} [{days} days]" // Show creation time and age in days
        },

Error: failed to parse JSON config file /home/wombat/.config/fastfetch/config.jsonc at (201, 1): unexpected character, expected a string key

I did finally get it using the code you posted as it exactly appears for you. I had to edit it a bit, but it worked. Many thans @thefrog and the others who helped.

How I edited the code:

        {
            "type": "disk",
            "key": "├ {#23}{#36} OS Age   ",
                        "folders": "/", // Check root filesystem
            "keyColor": "cyan",
            "format": "{create-time:10} [{days} days]" // Show creation time and age in days
        },

Result on my Fedora ThinkPad:

And now I’ve got the EndeavourOS Fastfetch fixed. I’d like the American date format, but this will do.

Congrats! I’m around 2 weeks behind you.

I would like to chime in too. Thank you EOS dev team. You have created a fantastic distro. Along with a great community to go with it. Hats off.

EOS is my daily driver. And I used primarily for everything apart from few Teams calls and Microslop stuff.

Having said that, where are we with restoring the “Joke a Day” thread?
:laughing:

Just checked mine
