2019 MBP Install - Keyboard does not work in systemd-boot

Keyboard input did not work in systemd-boot from the livecd/USB installer. Pressing any key stops the boot timeout, but that’s all that happens. No other interaction is possible. Nothing happens when arrow keys, e , or any other key is pressed.
This was observed on macbook pro 2019 13"

The same bug was reporting in Arch, an issue raised with systemd efi maintainers, patched there in Feb’2022 - this fix rolled into Arch ISO archlinux-2022.04.01-x86_64.iso

Github thread and original report below.

Does EndevourOS make use of Arch 2022 04 or later ISO, or is there an EndevourOS ISO based on the newer Arch available i can try if no.

Which ISO did you use? My machine is on systemd 251.1-1, perhaps try the Artemis iso?

Just checked and the original (from the iso I used) was systemd (250.4-2) and the Arch thread says 250.4-1 is good.

:edit:

[2022-03-29T21:37:22+0100] [ALPM] installed systemd-libs (250.4-2)
[2022-03-29T21:37:23+0100] [ALPM] installed systemd (250.4-2)
[2022-03-29T21:37:23+0100] [ALPM] installed systemd-sysvcompat (250.4-2)

im using Apollo 22.1 ISO etched to a USB thumb drive.

Looking at the Arch thread the break seems to be between Dec 2021 and April 2022 Arch ISOs.

I can try Artemis as prior to the break and update to latest rolling - is this the suggestion?

Yes
